I’m sharing these tips just in case you’d like to start a blog of your own. I know when I first thought of starting a blog, I was pretty intimidated by all these steps and learning about code. I only know simple code like html and excel/vba, so I’m still learning bit by bit. Full disclosure: some of these links do have an affiliate code and I do make a little something if you sign up through them – thank you! My priority though is to share information with you so you can take a shortcut or get inspired to start a blog. You can also make a page like this to help others in the future. Pay it forward. 🙂
Domain & Hosting
1. Bluehost worked out as the best option for me. Feel free to follow my instructions on how to setup a domain/host (also the signup link will save you $72 too). Yep, I do make a little commission from it – thanks for your support!
2. I chose WordPress because it’s the best one to add cool features and customize. I love that they have amazing plugins for newbies like me to take advantage of. Don’t worry, you will know what “plugins” are once you install WordPress. Follow my instructions on how to install WordPress on Bluehost.
